Photinia Red Robin aerial screening panel is best known for its stunning bright red new growth, which is similar in intensity to the Pieris. It is a very vigorous growing plant needing regular trimming to help keep it tidy and looking its best. With the speed of growth it fills up a screening panel quickly to give a good dense screen. Each time it is trimmed it will send out more of the stunning red new growth prolonging the show well into the summer.
Photinia Red Robin aerial screening panel was given an Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1984
