Elaeagnus eb. Compacta Instant hedging, has an attractive and unusual silver grey foliage that makes a perfect natural screen in your garden or landscaping project. It is a very resilient plant which is able to tolerate exposed situation including coastal areas, which makes them great for hedges and shelter belts. Regular trimming is needed to ensure that this hedge does not get to out of control and to maintain the density of it. It produces little white flowers in the autumn which are hidden within the foliage, which has a strong sweet fragrance.
